Useful Tools For Windows Xp Useful Tools For Windows Xp Presentation Transcript

    • Free and useful tools for Windows XP That work!
      • This free tool provides increased functionality of some already integrated windows components such as:
      • software removal
      • temporary file deletion
      • startup optimization.
      • As well as adding new functionality to cleanup the registry and securely delete files.
    • Clean up the registry
      • It allows you to scan the registry for left over keys from uninstalled software, missing shortcuts and other unused items helping to improve system stability and speed.
    • Uninstall software
      • Provides a faster interface for uninstalling applications.
    • Tune up the Startup
      • Increased functionality of msconfig, allowing for full deletion from startup processes rather than just disabling. Who even needs Adobe speed lauch?
    • Secure deletion
      • Instead of only emptying the recycle bin, CCleaner writes over the file then deletes it. The deleted file is then nothing more than data that makes no sense.
    • Finding drivers
      • I never have any luck with actual driver download sites. They always give you a link for the driver that takes you to another driver download site, then another download site....and so on.
      • Search engines seem to provide a faster resource to finding the drivers, but how do we know what we need?
      • Hmmm....puzzling.
    • EVEREST home edition
      • EVEREST home edition is a free system analyzer tool that tells you the needed information for your components to find the drivers you need.
    • EVEREST home edition
      • Easily display precise system properties.
    • EVEREST home edition
      • Easily save system properties to a text file, email or print.
