Yammer is an internal social network. Friends and family Work

Yammer is used by governments across the globe 29% Australia 33% US 26% UK

for many different reasons… I like Yammer because of its ability to "throw a stone into the pond" and see what ripples come back. I did that about three times last week, and again a couple of times today, either in open Yammer, or one of the Groups to which I belong. In short, it's a hot house for innovation that fits into five minute windows during lulls in the day. Dan Slee – Walsall Council, UK. Tom Phillips – Kent County Council, UK. Austen_H nice presentation Bryony :). a while back we set up a “Local Government” Yammer Community to link local authorities using Yammer, share best practice, make contacts, discuss new initiatives etc….you can find the “Local Government” Yammer Community here http://www.yammer.com/localgovernment ..so far there’s representation from 18 authorities, including some from Netherlands + Australia (thanks Bryony!) …it’s open to anyone working in govt :) 1 year ago
