2. After extensive research, it was concluded that the airline industry is evolving
again. In the past, airlines competed on price. However, eventually they all
started offering similar prices, so then they started offering greater comfort like
legroom and head room. As all airlines started offering this feature as well,
comfort became a consumer expectation. This has resulted in a new evolution
from price and comfort, to ease and simplicity as the new competitive frontier.
