Slide 1: How To Book Buses Online: When you make an Oz Experience pass booking, you will be sent email that contains a User Name and Password. Be aware the email may go to your Junk Email, so check there if you don’t see it in your inbox. The email may take a while to come through, check on your email the next day if at first you do not receive it. The email link in your inbox will look like this: Mark the email as safe and this will then open up the email with all details.
Slide 2: If you click on the login link shown on the previous page, this will direct them to the Oz Experience log in page. The next step is to enter your User Name and Password which you receive in the email. When you enter these details in you can then log in – If you enter the incorrect user name or password you will receive an error message like shown below.
Slide 3: When you are logged in correctly it will take you directly to the home page The first thing you should do is Edit My Details going into your details this allows you to create your own password something easy that you will remember. Once you have created a new password its important you hit Save.
Slide 4: When passengers are ready to start booking sectors, at the home page of the log in screen, located under the Fare Basis‐ Sydney – Cairns / Gross you will find Edit / Print Friendly By selecting Edit this will then take you to the following screen Where you arrive at this screen you need to simply then select Edit once again.
Slide 5: The next screen you will then get to is the Sector booking Screen. Let’s take a look: As shown below – this is our first departure so Sydney can be left as the Departing location; however we can then go into the drop down of Arriving destinations and select where we choose to jump off. It clearly lists where the overnight stops are so passengers know where they must stop for a night. Once you have the Sector confirmed for where they wish to travel you then need to select Continue.
Slide 6: When you hit select this will allow you to select the pickup location and advise you if space is available on that departure. In the above we can see I have booked Sydney to Byron Bay on the 7th of May with Pick up from Base Backpackers – however the writing is Red and on the right hand side we can see No Availability. The system can also advise you of availability either side of your requested date.
Slide 7: Since I was unable to get availability on my original requested date, I have now gone back and selected a new travel date of the 12th of May. As we can see above the 12th is also unavailable, however in the bottom right hand corner we can see: TUES, 13 MAY 2008 is available.
Slide 8: To select this available date you need to just click onto the date and this will refresh the screen as below. To then commit and save the sector you have chosen; click Continue and this will then allow you to review your sector:
Slide 9: Once you have reviewed your booking you can then Commit the booking which will take you back to the home page of your reservation.
Slide 10: Other useful links on the page you can use include the Help / Tutorials which highlight useful tips on how to use: Pass Itinerary Editor Itinerary Summary Departure and Arrival Checking Availability
Slide 11: You can also use the Print Friendly option of the home page which allows you to print a copy of your Itinerary. To log out you only need to hit log out which will then take you back to the log in screen. Make sure you always log out before exiting your session. This will just cut down on other members of the public accessing and manipulating your booking.
