Online Curriculum Processing Agenda for: November 17-22, 2005 Online Voting Process Voting on the above agenda will begin on November 17, 2005 and will end November 22, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. • DCC Faculty Representatives and Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs voting approval of the online agenda items submit their vote to the District Director of Curriculum, Virginia Cantu, via email. • DCC Faculty Representatives and Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs submit other action (disapproval, withdrawal) on online agenda proposals to all DCC members via the system distribution list, dl-DCC. • The MCCCD Curriculum Office must receive all votes by 3:00 p.m. on the final day of voting. Votes received after the voting closes will be archived by the MCCCD Curriculum Office for informational purposes. • During the online review/approval processes, members must communicate with all District Curriculum Committee members when: Identifying issues on the agenda action items, Withdrawing a proposal from the agenda, Requesting the removal of an online agenda item and placement of that item on the DCC General Agenda (also known as an appeal). Submit the request EARLY during the voting period, provide reasons for the removal of the item from the online meeting to the general meeting, specify the DCC general meeting date when the proposal should be discussed and action taken. For appeal purposes, it is understood that the proposal in question has been discussed with the initiating institution prior to the request for placement on the general agenda. • The summary of the online vote as well as action taken on courses and programs at the District Curriculum General meeting is listed on pages 2 and 3 for reference. The summary of the online vote will not be available until November 22, 2005.
