  • A FOX AND A CRANEOnce upon a time, a fox and a crane became friends. One day, the fox invited thecrane to dinner. The crane accepted the invitation and went to the foxs place atevening.The fox had prepared soup for the crane. He served the soup in flat plate. The foxenjoyed the soup using his tongue. But the crane could not enjoy it at all with hislong beak and had to get back home hungry. The naughty fox laughed at the crane.After few days, the crane invited the fox to dinner with him. The fox reached hisplace well in time. The crane gave him a warm welcome and served the soup in a jugwith a long and narrow neck.So, the crane enjoyed the soup using his long beak. The foxs mouth couldnt reachthe soup through the narrow neck of the jug. He had to return home hungry. Nowhe realized that he had been repaid for his bad behavior with the crane.
