    Empire State Youth Football League will be the leading youth football and cheer organization in the Metro New York City area providing:
    Superior competition
    Professional and highly competent league management
    Association based corporate governance
    Clear and open financial management
    Access to National and Regional Tournaments
    Commitment to supporting the development of high quality coaching and association management.

    The 4 founding organizations have over 30 years of combined experience operating youth football organizations and leagues. The principals have played major roles in operating other NYC Football land all have successful experience with unlimited weight Football.

    7 to 8 Game Regular Season Schedule.
    Championship Game at Poly Prep (Venue already booked)
    Independent League Commissioner.
    1 to 2 Crossover Games with Outside Leagues.
    Extended Season: All Teams Guaranteed 2 Post Season Games.
    Preliminary Schedules Released June 1st .
    Final Schedules Released August 1st .
    League Assistance with Travel Expenses to National Tournament for Winning Teams.

  • 5. ESYFL: Divisions
    ESYFL is devoted to unlimited weight age/grade based football. Player eligibility is determined by the age/grade matrix outlined below. Grades can be combined, and players can play in a higher grade, but under no circumstances can players participate in a lower grade than he or she is in.

    League Fees
    $1,500 League Fee For Football
    $250 League Fee For Cheerleading.
    $2,000 Mandatory Fundraising per Association (50% Kept by Team)
    $10.00 per player certification fee.

    • 8. Fully Paid Championship Game Held at Poly Prep (Venue already booked).
    • 9. League Sponsored Travel Fund. (Up to $3,000 per team for travel to National Championship Tournament)

    • 11. Separate Cheer Operating Budget and Travel Fund.
    • 12. Independent League Commissioner.
    • 13. Full accountability of all income and expenditures.

  • 15. United Youth Football League
    ESYFL is a member of the United Youth Football League (“UYFL”). UYFL is s nationally based sanctioning body similar to Pop Warner or American Youth Football (“AYF”). UYFL provides access to insurance services, regional and national tournaments for football and cheerleading, and access to grants. Highlights of the UYFL Include:

    • 16. Football & Cheer National Championship tournament in Florida.
