    2. 3. Research has shown that children who continue to read during the summer vacation perform better in school in the fall.
    3. 4. <ul><li>Every library will begin Summer Reading signups and special activities 2 – 4 p.m. </li></ul><ul><li>Central Library on Grand Army Plaza is having a Block Party 10 – 4 p.m. with performances and an appearance from Sesame Street’s Maria! </li></ul>Summer Reading begins Thursday, June 10!
