The digipak insert for the inside of the album case is less iconic then the outer case for the album.
The image on the left hand side of the case shows a clock the clock can connote that the audience
needs to hurry up and listen to her music, as when the case is opened it is the first image that is seen
by the audiences eye as naturally we look left to right so by looking at this image it means it is only a
matter of time before you start listen to the music. The image on the right hand side is a lot more
subtle in comparison to the rest of the of the digipak , this image relates to another album that Gwen
Stefani has so it shows that there is a link in her music, the design shows this. Her music must be based
around a story, society problem or relationships from personal life but there must be a link behind it all
for her to include a previous design with a recent album.

The designs on inserts for the CD slots are repeated on the CD the subtle white design is used on the first CD as
the music that is on this disk is very individual and purely her designs and songs, with a small number of featured
artists where as the second CD design is very dark and with a retro design on it to show how her music is
challenging the genre by including mix‟s with the songs to make her style more R&B opposed to pop. This shows
at the artist is not afraid to challenge stereotypes and make new styles.
