Heywood also regularly includes boxes like this one in his text to emphasise alternative or rival viewpoints between different ideological traditions….. So here you can discern the different approach to Democracy adopted by, for instance, Liberals and Anarchists.

    • (depth & detail) of the relevent ideology

    • a good appreciation of the competing perspectives on the issue at hand
