  • pastomet pastomet why the many excuses for a life you have to maintain, keep and use to promote your own dreams and aspirations. Soft drinks like coca-cola and pepsi and others are bad period. Minimize it to the last drop or stop. There are other ways you can refresh yourself. Talk of the preservatives, colourings and acids. The acidic in to stomach is always sufficienct to effect digestion. That even has some corroding effect. Why add more? The PH of coke is too high and bad. Merry and enjoyment and refreshment are good but find something that helps your system to build that break it, bcos already as you grow you automatically get worn out. There is no need to speed wearing out of your life. Your body and your life dreams deserves better!

  • Dizzious Dizzious Acidic foods do NOT harm the intestines, stomach, esophagus, or anything along the line in between the throat and anus. While they are obviously bad for your teeth, you need to remember that our stomach is already full of acid - that's how we digest our food. Stomach acid is MUCH more acidic than any soft drink - generally between a PH of 1 and 2.

The stomach and intestines are MADE to withstand this acid, and as long as we are alive, the linings of those organs are constantly refreshing.
Drinking & eating acidic foods generally HELPS digestion as well - it does NOT cause food to ferment in the stomach.

Nevertheless, soda is bad for you, I don't see how anyone could drink it every day. Blech.
