What You Build, What You Give!!! What You Build, What You Give!!! Presentation Transcript

    • What You BuildWhat You Give!!!
    • Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours, or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else. Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.
    • It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. Yourgrudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear. So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to-do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.
    • It wont matter where you camefrom or what side of the tracks youlived on at the end. It wont matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant. So what will matter?
    • How will the value of your days be measured? What will matter is notwhat you bought, but what you built;not what you got, but what you gave.
    • What will matter is not your success, but yoursignificance. What will matter is about what you learned as well as what you taught.
    • What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.
    • What will matter isnot your competence, but your character.
    • What will matter is not how manypeople you knew, but how many felt good when they were around you and how you served them.
    • What will matter is notyour memories, but the memories that live in those who loved you.
    • What will matter ishow long you will be remembered, bywhom and for what.
    • Living a life that matters doesnthappen by accident. Its not a matterof circumstance but of choice. Choose to live a life that matters.
    • Today and every day is the best day of my life because:I choose to make the most of every second of every day. I choose to put in 200% in every thing I do.
    • I choose to be happy regardless of the circumstances. I choose to see the glass half full, because it is!! I choose to not let others negativeideas or opinions affect my choices.
    • I choose to build by living free, in lifeand in spirit, so no cage could or ever will hold me. I choose to be who I always envisioned myself to be!
    • I choose to find solutions not problems!!! I choose to fight for whats right, no matter the cost. Ichoose to expect victory and success; failure is not an option. I choose to fight the right fight and win.
    • I choose to be the best, Father, Lover,Husband, Brother, Son, Friend, anyone could have. I choose to give back and be grateful for all my blessings.
    • I choose to see only the good in things & people, and avoid dwelling on the negatives. Ichoose to spread love even onthose who may not deserve it.
    • I choose to go the extra mile tobrighten the day of those aroundme. I choose to help the sick andpoor, because they need our help.
    • I choose these things because, I am lucky enough to be able to choose, grateful enough to use the opportunity, and wise enough to know the difference between choosing and letting the world choose for me!
    • I realize that what will matter is not what I bought, but what I built; not what I got, but what I gave. Poem : Michael Josephson Thank You Very Much Sompong Yusoontorn
