  • 1. The Fisherman Created By Sompong Yusoontorn
  • 2. This is the story of the fisherman, who doesn’t wait for tomorrow to be happy and enjoy his life daily. Let’s hear what he talked with the rich man.
  • 3. Once a fisherman was sitting near seashore, under the shadow of a tree smoking his cigarette.
  • 4. Suddenly a rich businessman passing by approached him.
  • 5. He enquired as to why he was sitting under the tree smoking and not working. “I have caught enough fishes for the day.” The fisherman replied,
  • 6. "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take a nap with my wife, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my friends; I have a full and busy life." The businessman then asked, but what do you do with the rest of your time?
  • 7. Hearing this the rich man got angry and said, instead of sitting in shadow wasting your time? Why don’t you catch more fishes…
  • 8. Fisherman asked, “What would I do by catching more fishes?”
  • 9. Businessman: You could catch more fishes, sell them and earn more money, and buy a bigger boat.
  • 10. Fisherman asked, “What would I do then?”
  • 11. Businessman: You could go fishing in deep waters and catch even more fishes and earn even more money.
  • 12. Fisherman asked, “What would I do then?”
  • 13. Businessman: You could buy many boats and employ many people to work for you and earn even more money.
  • 14. Fisherman asked, “What would I do then?”
  • 15. Businessman: You could become a rich businessman like me.
  • 16. Fisherman asked, “What would I do then?”
  • 17. Businessman: "Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little. You could then enjoy your life peacefully.
  • 18. "Isn't that what I'm doing right now?"
  • 19. You don’t even need to be more rich, more powerful to enjoy life. LIFE is at this moment, enjoy it fully.
  • 20. If someone is not satisfied one should look at those people who have nothing or the children who live on the streets who know that they have a break future but that does not stop them from enjoying themselves in the rains!!!!!!
  • 21. People matter the most. Not money, not assets, not things, not stuff. Friends, family, r elationships.
  • 22. If you could plan it, how would you spend your last day on Earth? Know what really matters in life, and you may find that it is already much closer than you think. Thank You Very Much Sompong Yusoontorn
