25 Lessons For A Life Worth Living - From Dad

  1. 1. 25Lessons Life Worth Living
  2. 2. Dear My Son : Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
  3. 3. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.
  4. 4. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
  5. 5. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
  6. 6. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.
  7. 7. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trails to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to bring you joy.
  8. 8. Always put yourself in another's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.
  9. 9. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
  10. 10. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't get on well in life until you let go of past failures and heartaches.
  11. 11. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
  12. 12. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are.
  13. 13. The challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you. Keep Believing in Yourself
  14. 14. If the going gets tough and you are at your breaking point, show resilience. Like the bamboo tree, bend, but don't break!
  15. 15. Tomorrow tells us it will be here every new day of our lives; and if we will be wise, we will turn away from the problems of the past and give the future -- and ourselves -- a chance!!!
  16. 16. Your life today is the result of your attitudes and choices in the past. Your life tomorrow will be the result of your attitudes and the choices you make today.
  17. 17. Life is too short to leave kind words unsaid. The words you say, or the letter you write, might just make all the difference in the world.
  18. 18. First you make your habits, and then your habits make you. Break those habits that can break you. Adopt those practices that will become the new habits that will help you achieve the success you desire.
  19. 19. Your habits are a form of exercise. The harder you work at something, the harder it is to quit. The easier it is to do, the harder it is to change. Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters. You are what you repeatedly do.
  20. 20. Changes are sometimes very painful, but they teach us that we can endure and that we can become stronger. Everything that comes into your life has a purpose, but the outcome is in your hands by the action you take. Be wise with your life, be willing to endure, and always be willing to face life's challenges
  21. 21. The gold and Diamond inside someone only could be seen and value if you could look at the inner soul. It need heart to see, and it need a process. We cannot see it from the words or attitude that only seen for a while.
  22. 22. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; life will give you back everything you have given to it.
  23. 23. "Life's a cafeteria here. You can get anything you want as long as you are willing to pay the price. You can even get success, but you'll never get it if you wait for someone to bring it to you. You have to get up and get it yourself."
  24. 24. "I've thought a lot in my lifetime, and the secret can be summed up in four words : The first is think. Think about the values you wish to live your life by. The second is believe. Believe in yourself based on the thinking you've done about the values you're going to live your life by. The third is dream. Dream about the things that can be, based on your belief in yourself and the values you're going to live by. The last is dare. Dare to make your dreams become reality, based on your belief in yourself and your values. "
  25. 25. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, and today maybe the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight. So, if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day, that you didn't take extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
  26. 26. Hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear, tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear. Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you'" or "It's okay." And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today. Thank You Very Much Sompong Yusoontorn Son, these are the only lessons I tell you. From Dad
