2. Everyone knows T25. Everyone knows Shaun T. I don’t have to
explain more about it. Today I would like to share you the
lessons I have got from T25, and these lessons will help you as
well if you can apply one of these 10 lessons in your life :
3. 1. At least you do is better than do nothing
Don’t say “I have no time”. Everyone has the same 24 hours. It depends
on how you actually manage it. Only 25 minutes is o.k. for you to
exercise and it is good for your health. If you practice T25 from day
1,2,3,4 continually, it will lead you to week 1,2,3,4 and you see result!!!
4. 2. You work step by step from the start, but not stop
Even you have good intention to exercise, your weak body may not
follow your strong heart from the beginning. Do one step at a time! If
you can’t follow the major group, follow Tania with the basic exercise.
You keep exercising until the time is up. You can lose some battles, but
you must win the war finally. (25 minutes war)
5. 3. First 5 minutes is the hardest period
It’s true for me. If I get tired and don’t continue exercising, I will lose
T25 exercise for that day. If I keep exercising until I reach 10 minutes,
I will feel good and have fun with T25 until the time is up. Never never
give up on what you do if you know it is good for you!!!
6. 4. Teamwork brings success
You will never see Shaun T. exercise lonely. He has a working team. I
feel o.k. when there are many people in CD exercise together with me.
Shaun keeps asking, “Are you o.k.?” and all say “Yes”. It helps me to
finish T25 within 25 minutes with them. They are my best friends!!!
7. 5. Get out of your comfort zone
I think it is so boring to do the same thing everyday. Shaun T. has
designed a Focus T25 to suit everyone who can decide what kind of
results he/she wants from working out. I have learnt Alpha, Beta,
Gamma. I have learnt something new, after I decide to work hard for T25.
8. 6. You compete with yourself, not others
Don’t be jealous when you see others’ excellent shape. You can start
doing for yourself. It depends on “YOU”, who decide to stop or
continue, because good shape can’t be seen within 1 day, but a certain
period of time. Compare to your version of yesterday and today you are
getting better or the same as your old day. Do it better today!!!
9. 7. Focus on your weak body
T25 is designed to help you strengthen all parts of your body. Strictly
follow the team exercise, and keep noticing what they are doing. One
step at a time. When you love to strengthen any parts of your body, you
will be interested in the details of that part and keep exercising that
part continually. This can also be applied to your current work as well.
10. 8. Compare before and after
We must review what we have done to find out where we are standing
and where we will go. Just get feedback from any mistakes that might
be occurred during exercise and correct it. If we don’t improve and
have no discipline, we will not get the result that we expect to.
11. 9. Communication is the important tool of leaders
As a leader, Shaun T. has to talk, talk, talk. Activate. Cheer up. Lead
the team. Count down before changing exercise format. If the leader
doesn’t talk and just do exercise, the team will get bored with the
leader and become the deadwood for sure. Follow Shaun T. for this!!!
12. 10. Success = Process not destination
Even though Shaun T. succeeds in his career and becomes the rich, he
still does exercise daily. He doesn’t stop doing exercise. He enjoys the
process and love to do it. Money means nothing to him. What he has
done is make a life, not just make a living. Don’t stop and keep moving
forward, even you succeed in your career or anything you do!!!
13. Take it day by day. Results don’t come overnight.
Change doesn’t happen immediately. Keep working
towards your goals.
