- About Brienna McLaughlin Pruce is an international artist who uses animal symbols to convey empathy. She received her MFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design and was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Sweet Briar College with a BFA in Studio Art and Creative Writing, and an Art History minor. She met her husband when they were both studying abroad at the University of Oxford. In 2007, Pruce was awarded a Professional Development Grant to attend an artist residency at Sustainable Arts Society.
