How Do We Begin? <ul><li>Purchase land </li></ul><ul><li>Have local people survey site and prepare for build prior to our arrival </li></ul><ul><li>20 K has been raised to put in water wells in April </li></ul><ul><li>Church plans will be made as soon as land is purchased </li></ul><ul><li>Supplies can be purchased in near by Magdalena </li></ul>

Pastor Mario <ul><li>Local pastor born and raised in this village </li></ul><ul><li>Has a church in next village 5 miles away. </li></ul><ul><li>He will be leading the operation on the spiritual end of things. </li></ul><ul><li>He will recruit teenage boys of the village to apprentice each worker to encourage a skilled trade and to take ownership of the project. </li></ul><ul><li>He is working with this village to build </li></ul><ul><li>chicken coops, and has a veterinarian </li></ul><ul><li>clinics among other projects </li></ul>
  6. 6. Where Will We Stay <ul><li>We will stay in a Mission team house run by Edgar and Rome Ramos, David (Fontaine) and Paula Green along with Robby and Lori, We will be next door to the beautiful girls of Mimi’s House </li></ul>
  7. 7. Who else will be joining us? <ul><li>There are other teams that are planning to be in Guatemala the same time we are. They will be helping us as well as working on ongoing project of the Catalyst Mission </li></ul><ul><li>The mission house can accommodate 30 people per week </li></ul>

  10. 10. Dates and Jobs What will we eat? We will eat at the mission house and pack our lunches to take to the work site. Will I have a bed, toilet and shower? At the mission house we will have all of those things but out in the village and at the work site will not have access to a flushing toilet. How will we get around? Edgar and his team will drive us around in a rented van
