    Uploading from Everio to NIng - Presentation Transcript

    1. How to cut, convert, and upload videos from JVC Everios to the High Tech High Ning.
    2. Visit squared5.com and download the program mpeg streamclip.
    3. Install MPEG_Streamclip by clicking on the program item and then clicking “run”
    4. Agree to the License Agreement to continue the installation process.
    5. Plug the USB cord into the camera and the computer, then click “ok” button on the foldout screen of the camera to “playback on pc”
    6. Open the mov001.mod file inside of PRG001 inside of SD_video inside of Everio_HDD
    7. If you get a warning screen, you may need to install Quicktime Alternative 1.81. From http://bit.ly/quicktime
    8. I had to remove Quicktime (from control panel- uninstall program) and download quicktime alternative from filehippo.com
    9. You have to download version 1.81

    13. Click File- Open Files- Locate the latest .mod file from the Everio_HDD folder
    14. While playing through the video, when you find a clip you want to save, click “I” to set the in, or beginning point and at the end of the clip, press “o” to set the out or ending point of the clip.
    15. Click “File” Export to MPEG-4
    16. Click Make MPEG
    17. Rename the file yourname-1 and click Save
    18. It may take a few minutes for your file to convert.
    19. Once the file has converted, close MPEG streamclip and log on to gsehth.ning.com
    20. Click on Videos, and then click on Add Videos
    21. Use the simple uploader at the bottom of the screen.
    22. Use the simple uploader at the bottom of the screen. Locate the file, click open, then click Add Video.
    23. It may take a minute or two for your video to upload.
    24. Update your video information and click save changes.
    25. After the video uploads, you’ll be able to view it.
