    • People flocked to Alaska to strike it rich!
    • It was a really tough road to travel, as you can see in the following pictures.

      • This is the trip on which he gathered a lot of his information that lead to his theories about nature and evolution
      • His father almost didn’t let him go because he thought it was a waste of time.
