  2. 2. Access Your Account <br />The Holmes County District Public Library provides online access to the library catalog <br />Our web address is<br />Access the catalog from home or at the library to search or place holds on items<br />
  3. 3. Access Your Account<br />Click on the My Account tab to access your library account<br />
  4. 4. Access Your Account<br />In the borrower barcode box type in the complete library barcode<br />In the Pin # box type in the 4 digit pin number<br />Pin number is the last 4 digits of account holder’s phone number<br />Click login tab<br />
  5. 5. Access Your Account <br />The account overview screen provides details about the account<br />The borrower can see:<br />number of items currently checked out<br />amount of items overdue<br />lost items <br />hold information on requested items<br />fines or blocks on the account<br />
  6. 6. Access Your Account<br />From the Account Overview screen it is possible to click on the Search tab to return to the catalog search screen<br />
  7. 7. Access Your Account<br />The Checked Out tab shows the items checked out to the account<br />This screen shows:<br />the item barcode<br />check out date<br />due date<br />number of times item has been renewed<br />
  8. 8. Access Your Account<br />To renew items on the account click the little box beside each title to be renewed<br />A little green check mark will appear in the box<br />Click on the Renew button<br />
  9. 9. Access Your Account<br />After clicking Renew a new screen will appear to verify the renewed items<br />This renewal did not work since the overdue fines exceed the $5.00 limit<br />In this case fines will have to be paid before a renewal can take place<br />
  10. 10. Access Your Account<br />This screen shows a successful online renewal after outstanding fees were paid<br /> Note the overdue amount is 0 since all items renewed<br />The times renewed column has changed to reflect the recent renewal<br />
  11. 11. Access Your Account<br />The Holds tab shows all hold requests for the account<br />Requested items ready for pick up are listed first<br />Item must be picked up by the expiration date <br />
  12. 12. Access Your Account<br />Beneath the requests ready for pick up is the list of holds that are not available yet.<br />This screen shows:<br />status of the hold<br />hold queue position<br />expiration date<br />
  13. 13. Access Your Account<br />The Fines/Blocks tab shows the amount of fees owed for overdue or lost books<br />Blocks are placed on the account if there are overdue items or fees<br />Any questions about fees or blocks can be answered by calling the library at 330-674-5972<br />
