(A shift in our mood produces biological modifications i.e. slower heart rate, a higher level of adrenaline, sweating, fatigue, stomach ache, etc.) • A shift in our body can change our emotions. • Posture can indicate a particular mood i.e. contraction and expansion • Emotions show up in our language and our voice. • Emotions are a key component of learning • Emotions affect our possibilities

Emotional reactions to that information determine the decisions an individual makes in any situation. All decisions depend on emotions. Changes in respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature and hormones consistent with other peoples’ emotional states occur when interacting with other humans, particularly when looking into their eyes (Lewis, Amini, & Lannon, 2001).
