API Validation For Slideshare <ul><li>All requests must have the following: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>api_key : The key provided by Slideshare </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>ts : The current UNIX timestamp </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>hash : Set to the SHA1 hash of the concatenation of the shared secret and the timestamp </li></ul></ul>

Authentication Using the API <ul><li>All requests needing authentication (marked auth_needed in the documentation) require the following parameters: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>username : The Slideshare username of the user the request is on the behalf of. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>password : The Slideshare password for the provided username. </li></ul></ul>

Uploading Slideshows <ul><li>You can upload by sending a post request to this url: </li></ul><ul><li>http://www.slideshare.net/api/1/upload_slideshow </li></ul><ul><li>This requires the standard parameters: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>api_key, ts, hash, username, password </li></ul></ul><ul><li>As well as the following required parameters: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>slideshow_title, slideshow_srcfile </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Additionally, the following parameters are optional: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>slideshow_description, slideshow_tags, make_src_public </li></ul></ul>
