  2. 2. Access <ul><li>Most people have access to the internet but some countries have limited access to the internet because of something called digital divide. Now they have inexpensive laptops for the kids that don’t have access to internet and a computer, it can survive the rain and the harsh weather. Internet access has became a very important thing in our life because we mostly can do anything on the internet like studying playing video games etc. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Communication <ul><li>Today people communicate using their mobile phones, chat rooms, bloggers, face book, twitter, MySpace, email etc. People all around the world use different methods of communication and the main and biggest one and the most important is the internet. Communicating by using the internet makes you reach people from all around the world and makes them in touch with you. Also you could meet people you never seen and they can be your close friend. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Literacy <ul><li>Digital literacy is knowing how to use technology in the appropriate way and the ability to organize, understand, evaluate, and create information using digital technology. By using the digital literacy people would be able to use the internet safely. Not knowing how to use the internet safely could lead to harmful and threatening things and cyber-bullying which is most common mistake some would make </li></ul>

Security and Safety <ul><li>People will give a lot of information about themselves in websites like Facebook, twitter and MySpace that people think its private but it’s actually not because cookies track everything you do and everywhere you go on the internet. And this causes a way for anyone to hack your account. Also many people think cyber bullying is fun and cool to bully someone but it’s not because it could lead to Death and people hurting themselves. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Etiquitte <ul><li>Every person online should have good manners and act civilized and should always treat people in a respectful manner. If every one was respectful there will be no such thing called cyber bullying </li></ul>
  7. 7. Rights and Responsibilities <ul><li>Your rights on the internet makes you to do whatever you want. You can use any program or any internet website whenever you want. Some examples are Twitter, Facebook and Myspace. And these are only some and only you can keep yourself safe in the internet. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Law <ul><li>The four main topics of law in the internet are copyright which is when some one copyrights something so he can take the credit for. Privacy is that you don’t go hacking into some peoples computers. Piracy is that you can download a movie or a game or any software that is not free and you can download it for free and it’s like stealing </li></ul>
  9. 9. Health and wellness <ul><li>Some people can get addicted to the computer and that is not a good thing because you will be sitting on the computer for 6-10 hours a day and lots of people do that and it’s really harmful to your health. Also many people talk on the phone while their driving or texting on the phone or just reading messages and the next thing they know they just had a car accident. So these are some of the things that affect your health while using technology. </li></ul>

Commerce <ul><li>Digital commerce has grown a lot these days like Amazon, EBay etc. Digital commerce is shopping online or membership for a website like a game or making a websites and lots more stuff. Also many people buy online because it’s cheaper and you may not find the item you want in your country. </li></ul>
