    For the last 10 years we’ve been hearing that eBooks are the next big thing and after some false starts skepticism sets in. Today’s presentations were geared towards any of you who have been sitting on the fence, trying to anticipate when and if you should be producing electronic versions of your content. You have already heard from industry experts today willing to share their knowledge and let you know that YES, EBOOKS are for real, They are here to stay and if you haven’t done so already it is time to plan accordingly to produce your content digitally. I will take a couple of minutes to make you aware of important developments in eBook space,. The value of a Standardized format as well as recent news providing strong indications about commitment to eBook space from Significant Players in eBook Industry. Back in the present, EPUB is going through an adoption phase happening on a variety of fronts. Publishers, Software Developers, Distributors, Device Manufactures, Digital Rights Management Companies, are all planning forward with a strong reliance on EPUB.
