  • Wow, what a difference a year makes. One year ago… EPUB was a 6 month old standard which was going to help publishers simplify eBook Production Hachette Group USA announced it was only supplying EPUB into the Digital Supply Chain Amazon Kindle had been launched and was sold out I showed a chart indicating Jan 08 vs. Jan 07 was up +26% and the number was challenged because it was not comparing two months when Amazon was in the eBook Marketplace. Back in the present, EPUB is going through an adoption phase happening on a variety of fronts. Publishers, Software Developers, Distributors, Device Manufactures, Digital Rights Management Companies, are all planning forward with a strong reliance on EPUB.

      • Can be utilized as final deliverable format from Publisher and is utilized in this way by Adobe Digital Editions, Sony Reader, Stanza Reader for iPhone
