  • 2. The beginning Hip-hop is a cultural and artistic movement that arose in the late 197os. It appeared in the Spanish-American communities and African-American neighborhoods of poor New Yorkers.

    • KRS One, rapper from the Bronx, wanted to join in four elements of hip hop. the first element was (rapping),later the DJing or (turntablism), the breakdancing or (bboying) and the graffiti.
  • 4. Breaking became popular in the Western world when street corner disc jockeys would take the rhythmic breakdown sections (or "breaks") of dance records and string them together without any elements of the melody.
  • 5. rapping Rapping, also known as Emceeing, MCing, Rhyme spitting, Spitting, or just Rhyming, is the rhythmic delivery of rhymes, one of the central elements of hip ho music and culture.
  • 6. Turntablism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating music using phonograph turntables and a DJ mixer. The word was coined circa 1994 to describe the difference between a DJ who just plays records, and one who performs by touching and moving the records, stylus and mixer to manipulate sound.
  • 7. Graffiti is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Graffiti is sometimes regarded as a form of art and other times regarded as unsightly damage or unwanted. Some people think of it as art, others vandalism, and others, a culture of its own.
  • 8. the LoOk* the LoOk* rappers wear fallen pants and wide shirt, leading many hats. The clothing is very appealing
