    • 2A cultural norm to share those designs and collaborate with others in online communities
    • 3The use of common design file standards that allow anyoneto send their designs to commercial manufacturing services to be produced in any number
    • Why?
    • Happiness Economics argues, rather persuasively, that once people reach some level of comfort, they are willing-even eager-to tradepotential earnings, at a lucrative but un-inspiring job, for less (but comfortable) pay at more satisfying work
    • TOOLKIT for Transformation How would this product be improved if it was connected to the internet? How much cheaper would it be if the manufacturer didn’t charge for IP? How would it be improved if the design was open, so anyone could modify or improve it?
