RASCI R = Responsible The one person ultimately responsible for delivering the project successfully A = from whom Approval is needed Needs to agree/sign-off before action is taken S = can be Supportive The key team needed to do the “real work” C = has to be Consulted Specialists who input, add value, and those whose buy-in is essential for ultimate implementation I = has to be Informed People who need to know about decisions made but do not need involved in the decision-making process • Standard work, these organizational roles could be defined as “rules of thumb”. • To set clarity on work upfront, new projects teams should decide their RASCI roles and responsibilities on each major element/s or decisions.
