Lessons from existing projects What do reviews tell you about your service? • Prevention of admissions/crisis • Secondary prevention • Better informed and able to manage • Reduce adult services care package & care home placements • Involve voluntary services effectively • Reduced duplication of services • Staff time spent on reviews and to follow- up on actions • Potential to increase referrals • Increasing caseloads? • Reviewers – staff satisfaction rates
