    • All of the Japanese were perceived as being sub-human.
    • Japanese prisoners soon began to appear in prisons where non had been before. They behaved just like humans but were still hated.
    • Some people described the war in the pacific as a fight of the races.
    • Japanese soon started to be singled out as an entire race rather than just a certain figure.
    • From the incident in Pearl Harbor and on there was no such thing as a good Japanese.
    • Japanese in Asia were also racist against whites and Americans.
    • It took an entire war and more to rid both the Japanese and the Americans of the stereotypes of each other.
    • Several stereotypes held by Anglo-Americans were present.
    • Japanese were not human, they were small in size, primitive, childish, and crazy.
    • The Japanese were blamed for the issues that took place in the war. Not just for their race but also for their behavior.
    • Both the Americans and the Japanese felt that they had to make the enemy seem sub-human. It made the situation easier when it came time to kill the opposing enemy.
    • In the United States racial tensions began to arise from the whites towards the Japanese.
    • People would post signs saying that Japanese should be hunted and even licenses were given out.
    • World War two brought out racism from the World.
    • Words such as vermin, apes ,and rats was attached with the word Jap.
    • Stereotypes soon became ok in everyday society.
    • There was even a float at a parade in New York which depicted bombs falling on yellow rats.
    • Some scientist even made the claim that Japanese skulls were two thousand years less developed than Anglo skulls.
    • Cartoonist were quick to support public opinion and views by depicting other races as non human.
    • Some evidence given towards Japanese dehumanization was that they killed their own creativity by keeping a large alphabet.
    • Once scientific evidence that supported stereotypical evidence had been debunked they simply came up with new evidence.
