    • Connecticut
      • Connecticut borders in the northern part with Massachusetts, in the eastern part with Rode Island, in the southern part with Long Island Sound and in the western part with New York.
      • It’s the smallest third estate in territorial extension of the USA.
      • But it is the fourth state with the most population with 3.405.565 inhabitants. The principal source of income of Connecticut is the rendering of financial services.
      • Connecticut means “place of the long river”.
      • Before the arrival of the Europeans Connecticut was occupied by the tribes Algonquian .
      • When the Europeans wanted to conquer Connecticut, they provoked a war with the Pequot's tribe. This war is known as Pequot’s War. It finished in 1637 with the victory of the Europeans
      • The most important river of Connecticut is the Connecticut river.
      • But there are others rivers like:
      • Housatonic river Naugatuck river Quinebaug river
      • The most important cities of Connecticut are:
      • - Hartford
        • Bridgeport
        • New Haven
        • Stamford
        • Waterbury
        • Greenwich
      • Hartford is the capital of Connecticut.
      • The river Connecticut thought the city.
      • The city is known as “the world capital of the assurances” because most of the sedate of the big insurance companies of the world are in Hartford.
      • To the west of Hartford there is the Elizabeth Park, the major and the former municipal garden of roses of the country.
      • In this city there are many neighborhoods and many parks of great diversity and history like:
      Park river Frog Hollow Asylum Hill West end
    • Keney Park Behind the rocks South meadows
      • Emblematic places:
      Mark Twain’s House Monument of charter oak University Library
      • Bridgeport is the city with the most population of the state of Connecticut.
      • In Bridgeport there are two important universities:
      University of Bridgeport Housatonic Community College
      • Bridgeport has organized three times the Gathering of the Vibes, a festival of a weekend of art, music and camping that offers some of the best names of talent festival. Every year, lots of people go to that festival.
      • Theatres of Bridgeport:
      Klein Memorial Auditorium Arena at Harbor Yard Downtown Cabaret Theatre Playhouse on the Green
      • New Haven is the biggest third city.
      • It is considered to be the first city planned of the United States.
      • In this city there is the famous and prestigious University of Yale.
      • There are illustrious prominent figures from New Haven like:
      Paul Giamatti (actor) George Bush (ex-president of USA) John Forbes Kerry (candidate for the presidency of the United States ) Karen Anne Carpenter (singer) Bernard Wolfe (writer) Noah Webster (author of first american dictionary)
      • This one is place in the Rippowam river mouth, on the Long Island Sound. In Stamford there are lots of skyscraper.
      • In Stamford there are the Long Island Sound. It’s the estuary of the Antartic Ocean, where there ends numerous rivers of the region of New York, in the United States.
      • Waterbury is a city on the west of Connecticut. It is located in the surroundings of the river Naugatuck
      • Greenwich is one of the richest cities in the country. It’s considerate one of the best places to live of EEUU.
