      • Charity Hop has planned implemented successful events for with athletes and organizations across MLB, NFL and NHL. We can run on-field sports events, such as the 100 Innings of Baseball game for Curt Schilling of the Red Sox, or we can also plan more formal events at prime venues of all types. The Charity Hop team will plan your event from soup to nuts through our in house specialists and array of vendor contacts.

      • Partner Charity Wines with professional athletes and lead development, launch, and marketing of wine brands for each athlete in their home-team market, with proceeds benefitting the charity of the athlete’s choice.
      • Strategy:
      • Developed a roadmap to obtain athlete participants, managed the branding process, organized charitable partners, aligned with league and media partners, and executed regional launch events.
      • Results:
      • Charity Hop launched Charity Wines for about thirty professional athletes. The venture netted local and national exposure for both the charitable organization and athlete supporting it, including more than $400,000 in donated media. From wine sales, more than $1.5 Million was raised across dozens of charities.
      • Each product launch also included a high-publicized and A-List attended launch party in the market of the product deployment. We coordinated all activity tied to planning and deploying the successful event, as well as managing the marketing and publicity around it.

      • Objective:
      • Strategically align MLB slugger, Bobby Abreu, with a worthy New York City based charity to be the recipient of a large charitable donation and foster the relationship between the parties.
      • Strategy:
      • Created target list of charities in New York that fit the ideals and goals of Bobby Abreu. Once a mutually beneficial match was made, Charity Hop outlined expectations for each party’s piece of the relationship, and developed opportunities for Bobby to immerse himself within the organization.
      • Results:
      • Charity Hop successfully aligned Abreu with the Police Athletic League of New York City, a relationship solidified through media procured on all major NYC television stations, the New York Post, New York Times, and on MLB.com. Charity Hop coordinated with “Bobby Abreu Day,” whereas Bobby visited a group of over 100 P.A.L. kids in the Bronx to play stickball and paint faces. He then joined P.A.L. representatives for a check presentation at Yankee Stadium to hand off $30,000 in donations.
