What is the Texas STaR Chart? <ul><li>STaR stands for School Technology and Readiness </li></ul><ul><li>Texas STaR Chart is a tool used to gather statewide data about school districts and their understanding and use of technology. </li></ul><ul><li>The data collected helps administrators and educators within each district to plan, assess, and align their plans involving technology with goals set by the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology, 2006 – 2020. </li></ul>

  12. 12. Are we measuring up when it comes to technology? <ul><li>Yes. </li></ul><ul><li>Brandenburg Intermediate has increased from the Developing Tech level to the Advanced Tech level in many areas over the past three years. </li></ul>
  13. 13. Are we still in need of improvement? <ul><li>Yes. </li></ul><ul><li>The top two domains that we need to improve in are: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Teaching and Learning </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Educator Preparation and Development </li></ul></ul>
