are social organizations for undergraduate students and in some cases graduate students.
The Divine 9, which I am a part of, participate in all the activities that I have shown you before plus one more. It is called stepping.
Stepping involves using your hands and your feet to make a rhythmic pattern that is synchronized with the other performers.
During a step show, The Divine 9 from different colleges compete against each other in a step off. Stepping involves making a beat or musical pattern with your hands, feet, or props. At a step show, you will see an organization step and you will hear many sounds that are named “calls.”You may also hear these calls around the campus. It is an act of recognition. Now, I will end my presentation with a short clip of a step. Thank you and enjoy!
