    Recognition of informal learning - Presentation Transcript

    1. Iconet Austria Training for the recognition of informal acquired competences January-April 09
    2. 12 participants of the vocational preparation course, Basisqualifizierung Chance B
    3. Every Thuesday morning we met for 2 hours.
    4. Each participant got an own map which included the training materials.
    5. Frontpage of the training material To be able to say, what I am able to do To be able to say, what I have learned To recognise my special skills To recognise, what I´m especially interested in
    6. Talking with one another, interviewing my collegues, getting to know about competences and how we can spot and express them – these are basic skills for the later performing of the Iconet-tool.
    7. A way of presenting my favorite topics of conversation is cutting out pictures of magazines
    8. Talking with one another brings people togehter...........
    9. ...........and strenghtens friendships .......... strenghtens friendships
    10. ....................and enables new relationships
    11. A strange thing, which always happened was the crowding on one side, once right - once left
    12. 50 relevant competences are printed on cards
    13. ..........and have to be sorted into categories
    14. Splitting the pile of cards in four categories: can, don´t know, can´t and competence
    15. Each participant got a small boxe to store one´s cards........
    16. ............which has to be marked.

    18. Instructions have to be explained very precisely and should be related to praxis
    19. Without support by the staff, many exercises and work-steps would have been too difficult
    20. Sorting out from th „I can“-pile my 5 favorite competences
    21. Spoting my 5 favorite competences is hard work

    23. Peer-interviews about TOP 5
    24. Exchanging experiences regarding the best 5 competences
    25. The TOP 5 competences have to be proofed during the peer-interviews

    27. It is not always easy to keep the cards in the right order
    28.  
    29. Talking with one another is a challenge but brings pleasant situations
    30. After having „proofen“ my top five competences, I mark them in a formular
    31. Certification through Eva Skergeth-Lopic, the manager of the company
