    3. Drugs • only consider organic small molecules • no antibodies, peptides, ions • ~750 drugs with side effects • ~600 drugs with targets
    4. Targets • most drugs bind to proteins
    5. Targets • most drugs bind to proteins • few exceptions, e.g.: • alkylating antineoplastic agents (which modify DNA) • contrast agents for X-ray • saline solution
