  • 1. Scrapbook of Poems
    #11 Daniel Nguyen
    4/17/11 Room 14
  • 2. TALKING
    Please stop talking.
    You sound like you’re squawking.
  • 3. Dominant and RecessiveTraits
    You have many traits.
     A few might be dominant.
    Some are recessive.
  • 4. The law
    Do not break the law.
You will be sent to prison.
    There’s no internet.
  • 5. Love your enemies
    Love your enemies.
    Forgive them for everything.
    But never forget.
  • 6. Technology
    What if there’s no web.
    If technology was fake,
    Could you survive this?
  • 7. No school
    If there was no school,
would you sew with a spool,
or would you swim in a pool?
  • 8. Rhyming
    Nothing rhymes with month.
    Does something rhyme with orange?
    Well, what do you think?
  • 9. Million dollars
    If you were a scholar,
    or even a baller,
you might earn a million dollars.
  • 10. Disneyland
    Disneyland is fun.
But it costs a little much.
    Be happy, but poor.
  • 11. States
    What’s your favorite state?
Is it Texas or New York?
    Mine’s California.
  • 12. summer
    Don’t be a bummer,
    it’s almost summer.
You can have fun in the sun, run, shoot a gun, or eat a hamburger bun.
  • 13. Pencil
The pencil is a writing utensil.
Use it to fill a stencil.
  • 14. Cat
    My cat ate a rat.
    It became too fat.
Then it got bitten by a bat.
  • 15. Rhymes
    This is not sublime,
Because I can’t think of rhymes.
    All these poems are mine.
  • 16. Bibliography
