  2. Getting the Software Before checking out your first audiobook, you must download and install the OverDrive Media Console for Macs. At the bottom of the left sidebar, find “Audio Software” and click the link. Monday, March 16, 2009

  8. Installation Select the volume. Click “Continue.” Monday, March 16, 2009

  11. Ready to Checkout! You are now ready to check out your first MP3 audiobook! Log into your account. Find an audiobook available for immediate check out. Add the book to your cart. Check out the book. Monday, March 16, 2009

  13. Downloading The Book Allow the file to download to the default location Monday, March 16, 2009
  14. Downloading Provided you have high-speed (DSL or cable) Internet access, download all of the parts. Monday, March 16, 2009

  16. TransferRing to iPod Highlight the audiobook you want to transfer to your iPod. Click the “Transfer” button. Monday, March 16, 2009

  18. transferring Typically, you’ll want to transfer all of the parts of the audiobook. Click “Next.” The transfer will start automatically. Monday, March 16, 2009
  19. iTunes After the transfer, consider changing the audiobook’s genre in iTunes to Spoken Word; this will enable the resume playback feature. Select the parts, go to the “File” menu >> “Get Info” >> Change the genre. Monday, March 16, 2009
