For this petite young-looking woman whose background includes managerial entreprenuership, creativity seemed to run in her veins. Thus, much has she achieved in just a short. Her years of full-dedication and hardship has led her towards reaching that milestone of fruitful reality. This is what she has become in a nutshell. Her Bialetti Foods Corporation (BFC), which began at a steady phase, has expanded via ‘BIALETTI CAFFE COFFEE SHOPS’ that now reaches out to highly-selective areas in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Ladies and gentlemen, new graduates of this year’s Barista Course, may we now have the distinct honor of welcoming our speaker – Madam Shirley Limqueco Chua.”

    • Now, how did your humble speaker get into the coffee industry?
    • This love affair with coffee all began with a passion!
    • At that point of my life, coffee became an illusive obsession.
    • This led me to go abroad to learn more about coffee, and how to share coffee’s goodness to our kababayans back home.
    • Together with my beloved husband, our commitment to the coffee industry has led us to the formation of Bialetti Foods Corp.
    • Thus, from a simple coffee kiosk a few years back, we now have several full-blown coffee shops, and more to come.
    • This will likewise open wider doors of greater opportunities for our Filipino Barista’s, as far as training and employment here & abroad is concerned.
  • 10. “ THE COFFEE INDUSTRY: HERE & ABROAD” Speaker: Shirley Limqueco Chua
    • What is the importance of training to you, our Filipino Barista’s?
    • The right & proper training ground can indeed make one highly competetive in the hospitality industry the world over.
    • Discover the knowledge, facts and data behind the enormous coffee consumer demand...
    • Take for example, the coffee variations, operation & techniques, which of course also depends of what type of machine is used.
    • This is also true to one’s knowledge assimilation, derived from a thorough research & development program.
    • Thus, as you progress in your career as a top barista, at the end of the day, you can honestly say that “I have achieved the very purpose of my study.”
    • Just remember this….your learning never stops as the years go by.
    • You alone can perfect your skills till you reach your summit.
  • 11. MABUHAY TO ALL YOU GRADUATES & GOD BLESS YOU!
