Why am I here?

I joined my ﬁrst social network in 2003. *We didn’t call them social networks before 2003, my ﬁrst social website was in 2000.

Along with 3 million other people.

I ﬁrst blogged in the in the winter of 2004.

4 million other people beat me to it.

I sent my ﬁrst tweet in March of 2007

By then, 8 million others had already sent theirs.

Being ﬁrst doesn’t matter.

Having a presence does.

2. Organize Your Inﬂuence.

List and be Listed.

Like and be Liked.

Make your network come to you.

3. Collaborate with your Community.

Create the spaces you would like to inhabit.

Ask questions, then answer them together.

Start conversations. Tag Everything.
