    3. In a learning network, individuals will: Work toward answering common questions. Create content and share-alike. Leverage the best learning and tools available.
    4. There is no single network. Trying to make it so will kill the network.
    5. In a learning network, individuals will: Create their own learning. Make connections that are relevant. Engage in a community wherever they find it.
    6. Learning is always networked. Connections are valuable.
    7. In a learning network, individuals will: Link to voices of value. Embed work that is important. Remix learning objects at will.
    8. The tool is not the network.
    9. In a learning network, individuals will: Shift tools if they no longer suit the needs of the network. Tag their content to aggregate it. Make content come to them with feeds.
    10. Networks huddle around learning.
    11. In a learning network, individuals will: Test ideas and make sure that they are viable. Debate both process and products. Start conversations, always.
    12. Networks are open. Web sites are closed.
    13. In a learning network, individuals will: Use API’s Use web applications and web mail as feeds Use mobile devices
    14. Wiki and blog are not four letter words.
    15. In a learning network, individuals will: Collaborate as an instinct. Have conversations around every learning event. Archive all learning.
    16. Learning networks are Professional Development
    17. Always on. Always Learning.
