  1. Year End Ideas Here are a collection of ideas that came from a network of teachers on Twitter.com Original tweet: How do you wrap up the year with your class/school/ etc.?
  2. Write an appreciation letter to someone that helped them this past school year. Animoto video of photos and events from the year. Create a ‘report card for the teacher’ on Google forms. (And the students fill it out.) What did you learn that helped you the most? What did we do that I shouldn’t do next year? Write a letter to themselves in the future (September). What do you want to remember about this year. Trace a digital portrait of their face on the SMARTBoard to create a digital character. Use a Flip video camera to film scenes from a class trip and then edit it into a digital music video. @benhazzard
  3. @ njtechteacher Learn Google Docs in 6-8 to tell how new tablets were used this year, what they'd like to do nxt yr
  4. @ pookyy Students are making an iMovie about how to do a great Literature Circle for new students.
  5. @ amckiel Compiled pics & video projects for student DVDs & schoolwide assemblies & students created class yrbooks
  6. using Wordle to list all the things they learned this year   @ mmreesescott
  7. I have kids list Survival Tips for the upcoming class. We post them on the bboard in hall. Hilarious. @ kellyhines : Some of my favs have been "Don't mess with her. She's hardcore." & "Don't try to pick your nose. She'll catch you."
  8. I have a Mac and I've used iDvd to make all students in my class a DVD with pics from the year. @ carruthersdavid
  9. kids creating "Top Ten lists" of year's or course's hilights/learngs. Can do collaboratively&use diff tools @ katiemorrow
  10. @ mflynch I plan to use Voice Threads, "What will you remember most about what you learned in third grade?"
