  7. 7. Packaging 6 Topic: Burger Mail, Mobile Eating Outlet Car Line Drawing Base Model: TATA Ace Benchmarking Research of the existing vehicle, scenarios in which such a mobile eating outlet exists. Benchmarking with existing products in the market. Car line drawing , with the packaging. Base model is a TATA ACE.
  8. 8. Free hand Sketching Packaging 7 Form exploration Concepts Basic approach for styling was to break the barrier of a LCV and come out with a unique feature for the burger mail. Thus burger mail could be identified as a brand, and as a transport device which serves all purposes.
  9. 9. Packaging 8 Concepts for a functional Burger Mail Concepts based on burger as the motif and source of inspiration. Mainly conveying a yummy feeling to the user.
  10. 10. Packaging 9 Concepts for a functional Burger Mail Concepts on small and varying in proportions, which suits the nature. Constant feedback being taken from users.
  11. 11. Packaging 10 Final sketches of burger mail Several concepts generated where the form and function are both coincidental. The variations in dimensions and proportions in vehicles could also be explored.
  12. 12. Packaging 11 Final cad model It has a multi utility factor. Where the user can access the 2 sides of business area. The treatment in the front is different from that of the rear.

  16. 16. Form Studies on Bus 15 initial trials on some combinations on a bus silhouette.
  17. 17. Form Studies on Bus 16 Explorations on the regular volume of the bus.
  18. 18. Form Studies on Bus 17 Forms which were generated out of the silhouette. The forms were inspired from a futuristic theme, where in the customer could accept the new form.
  19. 19. Non Motorized 18 Topic: Push Carts Concepts Pushcarts have sustained several cultures, weather, climate and countries. It is also being used for many purposes, mainly carrying and delivering food items. Initial research was carried out on existing non motorized products. Special focus on pushcarts. Pushcarts have evolved over time and is a sustainable product. The pushcart has many uses, fruits, food etc. Design Brief: Designing a pushcart for a fruit seller, considering the retail aspect of the pushcart.
  20. 20. Non Motorized 19 Push carts for fruit selling vendors. The pivot point gives the user , flexibility of displaying fruits and also parking the purpose. 1:5 Scale Models Alias Model The proposed push cart has pipes in between which occupies the space and provides the strength. Any vendor could place their fruits in baskets or sacks. The vendor has the flexibility of keeping a plank of wood and using it is a platform for other purposes.
  21. 21. Simple Design 20 Research Concepts Concepts Concepts were based on the platform in which the food would be served to the patient. This includes the trolley and the plate. Several tessellations were tried to get the right combination for keeping the plates. Since hygiene was a factor, most of the parts could only be made in stainless steel.
  22. 22. Simple Design 21 Final Detailing Concepts The concept was detachable, with wire mesh inside which aould cater to any plates or trays used by the in house pantry. The avoiding of water in the heating system also helps in the cleanliness issue.
  23. 23. Bike 22 Original Bike Trials Paper Trial The beginning of the project was with the shape of the head lamp. The form is maintained in the silencer and the battery guard/ filter guard. Even though the external of the silencer is altered, the performance is maintained.
  24. 24. Bike 23 Paint Job Original Bike Trials Paper Trial Detailing The stock engine remains the same with an addition of a KNN air filter. All the changes in the bike has been calculated, thus not hindering the performance of the bike.
  25. 25. Photography 24 Trials The photographs were some explorations done during the photography course. Lithography explorations were done in the living room.
  26. 26. Form Studies 25 Analysis Side views Original Bike Attributes of existing product: heavy, bulky, volumetric, not integrated. In the explorations the characteristics which were maintained were strength, continuity, muscle
