  • 3. Mr Haidacher was very happy about IPMA Council of Delegates unanimous decision to approve APMG application for IPMA membership, and said “This is the result of the collective effort and enthusiasm of my board colleagues, committees and AGEXPORT (Guatemalan Exporters’ Association) which under the leadership of Mr Luis Godoy offered to incubate our organization. We all feel this is our small individual contribution to Guatemala, but we are also confident that to our Guatemala it will become as big as the sequencing of the human genome in the Project World.” Mr Haidacher can be contacted at bha.apmg@facultare.com . Having commenced operations in July 2009 with a system of regular meetings and a total of 200 participants representing different institutions and enterprises, Asociación de Project Management de Guatemala (APMG) aims to promote professional project management in Guatemala, and to ensure Guatemala is known for its professionalism and ethics in the successful execution of projects. APMG emphasizes transparency and corruption-free projects, efficiency to ensure successful projects, increased investments, job creation and better wages through certification, risk mitigation as well as international standards in project management.
