    • Free Powerpoint Templates Sharing Links First Business Needs
    • Do them yourself You can customise your own sharing links. The benefit of this is that you can customize the language you use around your offer. If you have information you want to share in an e-book, you can say « Tweet this e-book ». To set up share links manually, hyperlink your text and/or images with the following
    • Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=[INSERT URL HERE] Use the URL for your landing page. The shared links on these sites will display the meta description of your page as the default text for the post. This means that your meta descriptions should be optimized for both search and sharing
    • Linkedin: http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=[INSERT URL] Use the URL for your landing page. The shared links on these sites will display the meta description of your page as the default text for the post. This means that your meta descriptions should be optimized for both search and sharing
    • Twitter: https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=[INSERT TWEET HERE] The Twitter hyperlink is slightly more complicated, since you need to feed it the tweet you’d like it to display, not just the URL of your page. Check out HubSpot’s easyto- use “Tweet This” tool that will create a hyperlink for your Twitter share link in one simple click.
    • OR – Use the official icons: The other option is to use official icons which can be found on each Social Media site. Visit each site and you will find the embed codes that you can copy and paste into your site. Either of these options can be effective, however you need to measure how effective and do not forget to keep the content up to date, relevent and interesting to maintain the relationship with your followers. Choose the method that works best for you.
    • Optimizing Tweets for Sharing Links:
      • There are 3 main components you will want to include in your Tweets:
      • An @Mention of your company name – important from a branding perspective and to spread the word
      • The title of your offer – include the name and description, this is the body of your tweet
      • A link to your landing page – you want people to go to your landing page, so include a link. Use bit.ly to shorten it or let Twitter shorten automatically.
