Our Search ProcessPhase I - Development Develop a detailed job description and list of qualifiers, as well as an assessment of the workplace demographics and management style. Develop accountable timelines for approval. Develop and present an initial target list of companies to recruit from. Develop and present a candidate questionnaire tailored to the respective search assignment.
  13. 13. Phase II - Execution Recruit and interview candidates. Present written profiles of viable candidates in accordance with timelines. Profiles to include:  Overview of candidates background  Summary of candidates core competencies and strengths  Résumé/CV  Completed search questionnaire Schedule and prepare candidate and client interviews. Debrief candidate and client on interview and provide counsel. Conduct and present a written summary of reference checks.

Phase III - Completion Prepare a written offer of employment, detailing all agreed upon terms. Facilitate/negotiate the employment offer to the final candidate. Assist final candidate in resigning from current company and prepare candidate to deal with the possibility of a counteroffer. Facilitate on-boarding process of selected candidate.

The Hobson Difference We never take all your money and “kick back.”  Our Performance Based Retainer requires only 1/3 of the fee to engage our full services, with the balance due only upon successful completion of the search. We feel the “need for speed.”  On average, we complete searches within 60 days. Most “global search firms” won’t even have a short list of viable candidates ready in that time frame. We never “get you” with “Administrative Charges.”  Our Search Fee is our only fee. We don’t charge for administrative support, phone bills, computer usage and other clerical services associated with the search. We have no “Ivory Tower.”  Our search teams are led by a Partner who is “hands-on” and “in the trenches” during every step of the search. We “cut to the chase.”  We’re agile. We’re nimble. Once you say, “Go”, the search goes to full throttle. You’ll never chase us. We’ll push you to keep pace. We don’t believe in “boiler plate.”  We’ll never claim to have done “hundreds of searches just like yours”. Similar, yes, but each search, like each client, is unique.
