    Notes on slide 1

Tobacco Underground goes beyond a traditional “Tobacco 101” and provides a look back through the history of the tobacco industry and the growth of tobacco use across the US and around the world. You’ll hear more about the outrageous track record of the tobacco industry - from early tobacco ads, false claims, “top secret” documents and more, you’ll learn about decades of deceit. We’ll also look beyond the U.S. to explore tobacco as a global public health issue and a social justice issue. So, if you were starting to think, “well, maybe the tobacco industry isn’t THAT bad, think again . . . “ Presentation produced by: Catalyst - Minnesota’s own anti-tobacco movement Contact Info: Andy Berndt [email_address] 651-270-6589 This work by Catalyst is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 United States License .
