    • Helps determine progress toward technology goals.
    • Assesses the technology needs of the campus.
    • Indicates areas of improvement for technology integration.
    • Helps determine technology budget allocations.
    • Gives direction for professional development.
  • 3. How is this measured?
    • All Texas teachers are required to answer the survey online @ http://starchart.esc12.net/docs/TxTSC.pdf
  • 4. What are the standards?
    • There are 4 areas that are measured:
    • Teaching and learning
    • Educator Preparation
    • Administration and Support
    • Infrastructure
  • 5.
    • Each area is measured by teacher responses and are given a level of progress:
    • Early Technology
    • Developing Technology
    • Advanced Technology
    • Target Technology
  • 6. How does our campus measure up?
  • 7. Compared to the rest of the state, what are our levels of progress?
    • Teaching and Learning – Developing Tech (69.7% of campuses at this level)
    • Educator Preparation – Developing Tech
    • (74.2% of campuses at this level)
    • Admin & Instr. Support-Developing Tech
    • (49% of campuses at this level)
    • Infrastructure – Advanced Tech.
    • (57.2% of campuses at this level)
  • 8. Summary
    • In 3 out of 4 areas, CHS progression level is only Developing Technology.
    • Infrastructure was the highest area.
    • CHS has kept pace with the majority of Texas schools.
    • More technology integration, staff development, administrative support is needed to improve student success.
