These are fourteen sketches from about at last count,140 different, black and white pics for the year, 2012. These are what I consider the best of the bunch from my sketchiethoughts blog. All are draw from my surrounding country areas plus one or two from my hometown, New Orleans.

When I first started this blog, my intention was to draw something from life at least once every day. It soon became an impossibility to keep up that pace, but you are invited to see these and more of my sketch work with accompanying comments at: http://sketchiethoughts.blogspot.com

  16. 16. The End… of 2012.When I started this blog over two years ago, I thought I could create a soup dujour type of sketchbook. I cant say I was sketching every day and many times the sketches I did create on a "daily" basis really were, at times, quiteembarrassing. My unofficial sketch count for the year 2012 was one hundred- three whether on a receipt, an address book, a tissue pad, a tablecloth or anactual sketchbook.
