Norman starts to act like him.
PROTAGANIST; Wanted to quit her job because she had to walk 9 miles rain or shine. Religious. Grateful. Warns Miriam about the boycott. Says "I don’t want your kids to grow up being scared of mine.’ She gets surprised when Miriam tells her to sit in the front seat with her. Couldn’t understand why Miriam couldn’t go and pick her up. FLAT CHARCTER; Sexist Goes into the spare bedroom because Miriam finally talked back to him and he didn’t like that. He likes being in control of everything. Odessa has worked as there maid for the first time Norman sat down and had a conversation with her. Filthy rich Says" if Odessa walks to work three days a week she can walk five”
ROUND CHARCTER; At the beginning she only cared about her self. Starts to drive for the car pool. Gets slapped by Tunker. Calls the police officers because they throw out Odessa out the park because she was black. Joins the black women while they are singing. Got respect from Norman. She starts to realize how black people are treated. Wise and smart
